March 7, 2019: Queen Elizabeth shares her first Instagram post
The longest reigning monarch officially made history when she published her first Instagram post. While the royal family has had an Instagram account for years, this was the first time Queen Elizabeth actually shared something herself. The public has the Science Museum to thank for this momentous day, since she had chosen to share a personal story from one of their archives.
