Lisa Marie Presley

Lisa Marie Presley was born on 1 Feb., 1968, to Elvis and Priscilla. Her parents were married from 1967 to 1973, and Elvis died of a presumed heart attack in 1977 when Lisa Marie was just 9 years old.

Lisa Marie went on to follow in her dad's footsteps as a musician and also retained ownership of her father's estate, Graceland. She was married to Chicago-born musician Danny Keough from 1988 to 1994. The pair share two children, actor Riley Keough and son Benjamin Storm Keough, who died of suicide in 2020.

She went on to marry Michael Jackson in 1994. The pair were together until 1996. Lisa Marie was also married to Nicolas Cage from 2002 to 2004 and to Michael Lockwood from 2008 to 2021. She and Lockwood gave birth to twins, Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, in 2008.

Lisa Marie attended many events with her mum in 2022 to promote Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" movie, including the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, where she saw "Elvis" star Austin Butler take home his first award. It was her last public appearance.

On 12 Jan., 2023, Lisa Marie suffered cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital, where she later died. Per ABC News, her death was the result of a small bowel obstruction, according to an autopsy report. Lisa Marie was interred next to her brother and father in Graceland's Meditation Garden. Following her death, according to CBS News, Priscilla contested her daughter's will, which named her two children, Riley and Benjamin, as co-trustees while removing Priscilla and her former business manager Barry Siegel. But a settlement was reached in May and approved by a Los Angeles judge in October, per CNN.

Nine months after Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla opened up about her grief and the "unbearable" loss during an emotional interview with "Piers Morgan Uncensored. "It's like a large part of your life is taken away," she said, via The Sun. According to Priscilla, Lisa Marie seemed to fall ill the night of the Golden Globes. "She didn't look well that night, and I was concerned," she recalled. "She asked Jerry Schilling, one of my best friends, if he could hold her. Her heels were high, but she had worn them before, and I thought 'is she OK?' She didn't really look that OK, she looked very frail."

Things only seemed to worsen from there, as two days later, Priscilla got a call from Lisa Marie's ex-husband saying she'd been rushed to the hospital. By the time Priscilla got there, it was too late. "It was unbearable," she said. "I lost my mother, I lost my grandson, and I lost my daughter. It's still shocking that we don't have her."
