Rochelle and Marvin Humes Take Their Daughters to "The Little Mermaid" Premiere
"The Little Mermaid" is already making a splash ahead of its release on 26 May thanks to the stunning outfits displayed at the various premieres around the world. And the London premiere on 15 May was no exception. As the likes of Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, and Simone Ashley stunned in ocean-themed looks on the red carpet, TV presenters Rochelle and Marvin Humes decided to make their preview a family affair by taking their daughters with them.
In a rare public outing for the Humes' clan, mum and dad were joined by 9-year-old Alaia-Mai and 6-year-old Valentina. Their son, Blake, 2, stayed at home. Rochelle posted a carousel of photos from the memorable evening on her Instagram along with the caption, "A night our little mermaids will never forget…" She added on her Instagram stories, "Such an incredible evening.. Watching my girls as mesmerised as they were was a moment I'll never forget.." And Rochelle called out Bailey, who plays Ariel in the live-action remake, labelling her "utter perfection".
The family posed for photos on the aptly-coloured blue carpet before getting a preview of the film. Rochelle kept with the sea theme by wearing a light-wash denim strapless Magda Butrym dress that had denim circles on the chest that loosely resembled shells. Her stylist, Kelly Hidge, teamed the dress with yellow slingback kitten heels for a pop of colour. Hairstylist Jay kept her bob hair in loose waves while makeup artist Francesca Abrahamovitch used Hailey Bieber's beauty brand, Rhode Skin, to achieve that glowing look.
Her JLS husband of 11 years went for a tonal 'fit in a brown varsity jacket, brown trainers, and trainers, but it was their daughters who stole the spotlight. Dressed in matching mint green and white crochet crop tops layered under mesh mint cardigans with pastel pink cargo pants and gold sandals, the sisters were beaming amongst the Disney-fied set.
