Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham continue to confirm their BFF status after spending New Year's Eve together. The actor's appreciation posts on Instagram came thick and fast as they rang in 2023 while holidaying on a yacht along with Nicola's husband, Brooklyn, and a handful of other friends. The three have become so close that Gomez even joked they are in a three-way relationship, captioning a gallery of photos from their trip with, "Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone".
For the end-of-year party, Gomez and Nicola even dressed in matching minidresses. The pair wore sequin silver backless looks from Valentino with coordinated perspex platform heels. The friends were so in sync, they even styled their hair in matching sleek ponytails with middle partings while the dresses themselves were customised with silver embroidery on the inside labels spelling out each of their names and the year 2023. Celebrating on the beach complete with sparklers and fireworks, the friends certainly rang in the new year in style. While Gomez features heavily in the Peltz Beckham's posts, the married couple are not ones to miss a PDA opportunity with both posting lovedup snaps of them kissing during their trip.
This isn't the first time the three friends have spent milestone moments together. Brooklyn cooked fish and chips for them both, along with other friends, for Thanksgiving 2022. Gomez and Nicola also had a super cute sleepover party, wearing matching satin pink pyjamas obviously, to celebrate the release of Gomez's documentary, "My Mind & Me". While their friendship initially came as a surprise to fans, it seems the pair are closer than ever. And with Gomez releasing a new album in 2023, and nominated for a Golden Globe award, we expect many more celebratory parties between her and the Peltz-Beckhams in 2023.
Meanwhile, the rest of Brooklyn's family celebrated the New Year at their home in the Cotswolds. The rest of the Beckham clan, including Victoria, David, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were pictured ringing in the new year with a fireworks display and drinks in front of roaring fires. Both Victoria and David posted snaps on their respective instagram accounts tagging Brooklyn, but fans were quick to point out that Nicola was not mentioned. Rumours of a rift between Nicola and Victoria had been circulating last year after Nicola wore a Valentino wedding dress, although this has been denied, with Brooklyn telling the Variety that "everyone gets along".
