The Bachlorette's Jed Wyatt on Good Morning America Video

Jed Reacts to Hannah Asking Tyler Out on a Date After Their Breakup: "I Want Her to Be Happy"

It seems like there are no hard feelings between The Bachelorette's Jed Wyatt and Hannah Brown. On Thursday, the 25-year-old Nashville singer stopped by Good Morning America to talk about his breakup with Hannah and why he waited so long to tell her about his girlfriend back home.

"I was really overwhelmed with how much I actually did fall in love with her, and I was fearful to lose her," he said. "I was acting really more out of fear than my actual love for her, and you know, that's my mistake."

On Tuesday, the dramatic finale of The Bachelorette finally addressed reports that Jed had a girlfriend while he was on the show. While Jed tried to explain his side of the story to Hannah, she ultimately decided to break off their engagement. Jed added that he decided to appear on the "After the Finale Rose" ceremony to help Hannah get "closure" and "let everyone know that I am sorry."

During his appearance on GMA, Jed also revealed how he felt about Hannah asking her runner-up, Tyler Cameron, on a date during the finale. While he certainly "had a feeling something was up" between Hannah and Tyler, he added that he ultimately wants the best for her. "Her happiness is my best interest," he said. "I want her to be happy, and Tyler's one of my friends, he's a great guy, and, you know, if that's what it's supposed to be, then I support that." See the rest of his interview above.
