Once again, Olivia Pope saves the day. After ending things with Jake, taking down Cyrus, and saving Mellie's presidency, Olivia shares that she's stepping away from the White House. When Mellie asks what's next on the horizon, Pope responds, "Whatever I want."
We see her time on Scandal come to an end with the hint of a potential future with Fitz (hopefully in Vermont) and a dinner scene at-home, shared with her father, Rowan. The staple on their dinner table? Red wine, of course.
The series concludes with two young black girls roaming the White House museum walls, only to land upon a giant portrait of Pope with the words, "We the People."
