Popsugar Entertainment The Bachelorette Reactions to Trump Interrupting The Bachelorette 2018 Diehard Bachelorette Fans Were LIVID When Trump Interrupted Last Night's Episode 12 June 2018 by Karenna Meredith Image Source: ABC You do not come between a Bachelor Nation fan and their Monday night watch party, even if you're the President of the United States. During The Bachelorette's third episode on June 11, viewers received an unexpected interruption when ABC paused programming to show a portion of President Trump's meeting with North Korea's Kim Jong Un. The summit, while historic, was not a welcome change in scheduling for many viewers and they let their opinions ring loud and clear on Twitter. Host Chris Harrison was there for fans by tweeting every step of the way, encourageing viewers to stay calm. "Everyone breathe and drink another glass of wine," Harrison tweeted, reassuring fans in the way only a seasoned host can. While the show did resume and audiences could view the episode in its entirety, let the following tweets be a lesson to anyone who tries to mess with The Bachelorette Monday: It's not a feat for the lighthearted.
