While everyone was trying to hold back tears during Eddie Vedder's moving "In Memoriam" performance at the 90th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, others were upset that the list of honourees didn't include all of the Hollywood stars who passed away last year.

Most notably, people were not happy that actor Adam West wasn't among those honoured during the segment. West came to fame for his role as the titular character in the 1960s Batman TV series. He died on June, 9, 2017, from leukemia. In addition to West, others left out of the "In Memoriam" included Della Reese, Dorothy Malone, Robert Guillaume, and Powers Boothe.

The Academy has yet to provide a statement on why West was omitted from the segment. However, people on Twitter were not happy and swift to express their disappointment with the Academy for slighting West by leaving him out of the segment.
