Amelia Dimoldenberg's Celebrity Rebrand Starts on 16 Dec

Amelia Dimoldenberg Swaps Chicken Shops for the Boardroom in Her New Series, Celebrity Rebrand

Fans of the Chicken Shop series with a taste for more from host Amelia Dimoldenberg are about to have their palates satisfied. In a new digital series with Channel 4, the satirical comedian swaps nuggets for '90s PC, taking on the job of revamping the celebrity images of Rosie Jones, Anna Richardson, and Romesh Ranganathan in Celebrity Rebrand.

The digital series that "takes your brand and catapults it to the next level" puts celebrities through their paces with a series of brand exercises in a ploy to change their public perception and connect with wider audiences. Amelia's misguided attempts see her toning down Jimmy Carr's mean character, cleansing Jamie Laing's love rat image, and encouraging Clare Balding to embrace her inner rebel. The question is, will these attempts create positive profile changes or end up, simply, a PR nightmare?

In a first-look clip, we see Amelia donning a business suit at a desk set-up with exercise ball, framed pictures of herself, and fluffy pens, situated in a vacated office block. Here she has the task of taking Clare Balding from beloved TV presenter to woman with a rebellious edge, using a mallet and the prompt "Krufts in unnecessary".

"Celebrity Brand Visionary" and multiple-time "Employee of the Month" winner Amelia said of the series, "I take my role as Celebrity Brand Visionary very seriously. I can't wait to get my hands on some of Channel 4's talent and really get to know them, so I can totally transform every single thing about their brand. Thank goodness for me!"

Check out the first look of Celebrity Rebrand above, then catch the full digital series across Channel 4's social platforms from 16 Dec. In the meantime, we highly recommend enjoying Amelia's TikTok dances.
