Disney's Home Alone Reboot Will Star Archie Yates, Ellie Kemper, and Rob Delaney

Disney+'s Home Alone reboot has found its first cast members. According to Variety, Archie Yates (Jo Jo Rabbit), Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), and Rob Delaney (Catastrophe) will lead the film with Dan Mazer as director. While this originally sounded like a remake of the classic 1990 film, general details about Yates, Kemper, and Delaney's roles suggest a different plot entirely.

Sources revealed that Yates will not play Kevin McCallister (made famous by Macaulay Culkin), but a different character who finds himself in a similar predicament. Kemper and Delaney are not expected to act as Yates's parents or even relatives. Instead, they're assumed to be a different couple. Details are still scarce, which understandably has many fans wondering what the streaming service has in store. Disney+ is launching in the UK on March 24, 2020.
