Unfortunately, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" has an exclusive theatrical release and is not available to stream at the moment.

When Will "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" Be Available to Stream on Disney+?

Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, Disney has carefully planned and navigated the release of original titles. In 2021, the company announced that many of their exclusive films, including "Encanto" and "West Side Story," would have exclusive theatrical runs, ranging from 30 to 45 days, and hit Disney+ afterwards. The Marvel films of that year, including "Shang-Chi and The Legend of Ten Rings" and "Eternals" had a longer exclusive theatrical run, with approximately 70 days in theatres, according to Newsweek.

The platform has not formally announced a streaming date for "Doctor Strange 2" yet, but "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" could follow in its Marvel predecessors and have a lengthy run in theatres. If this is the case, we can expect the film, which released on May 6, to hit Disney+ sometime in mid-July. If it follows a 45-day release, it could be available to stream as early as June 20.
