After her name was announced, Coolidge hugged and kissed her "The White Lotus" costars before walking to the stage. "Hey, hi," she told the crowd once she reached the mic. "Thank you, gosh. What a night. I just want to say to my fellow nominees, just to be in your company is incredible," she said.

"I just want to say, I took a lavender bath tonight, and it made me swell up in my dress," she said. "I'm having a hard time speaking." She laughed and continued, "I didn't think this was going to happen. . . . Wait, wait, wait!" she said before taking out her list of people to thank. She started to read the names when the music began.

"Hold on!" she said. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I'm full, I'm full! Wait, wait wait! Hold on, wait!" She continued to read names over the music. Then the song changed to something louder. "Wait hold on!" she said before deciding to dance to the tune instead, met with cheers from the crowd. Then she finally left the stage.

Coolidge played Tanya McQuoid in season one of "The White Lotus," which was set in Hawaii. She is the only cast member who is reprising her role for season two, which is set in Sicily and scheduled to air this October.

"The White Lotus" was nominated 20 awards at this year's Emmys. He costar Murray Bartlett won earlier in the evening for best supporting actor in a limited or anthology series. The show has already won nine awards in total, with the ceremony ongoing.

In addition to returning to "White Lotus," Coolidge is also set to soon reprise her role as Paulette in "Legally Blonde 3."
