If I ever meet Lupita Nyong'o, I would hope it's not in a haunted house when she's dressed as Red from Jordan Peele's Us, but a few terrified fans at Universal Studios's Halloween Horror Nights had the chilling pleasure of seeing Nyong'o in character up close this week — and I'm screaming internally just watching the video.
After taking a walk through the Us-themed park attraction herself — and letting out a few good shrieks at the sight of a pair of scissors — Nyong'o was ready to reprise her role as the leader of the Tethered. The real fun begins at 0:40 when Nyong'o looks into the camera in full costume and says, "Okay, let's go scare some people." The horror that ensues is straight up worthy of giving eternal nightmares to anyone unlucky enough to wander into her path. Watch the full video here to relive their thrilling experience.
