Olivia Attwood is one of Britain's most beloved "Love Island" contestants. Since reaching the final of season three, the 31-year-old bombshell has gone from strength to strength, and in 2020 she even landed her own reality TV show, "Olivia Meets Her Match". The show covers the story of her engagement to footballer fiancé Bradley Dack, who she was actually dating before she joined the hit ITV dating show in 2017.

Attwood is admired for her authenticity and has been praised for her openness about her ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

Even reality TV fanatics across the pond can't get enough of the former model, with the star recently being asked to appear on Alexandra Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast — the second most popular podcast on Spotify. Cooper's advice and comedy show is sought out by three million people on average per episode, so it's a massive deal. Attwood recently joined Cooper's star-studded lineup of guests, from "Selling Sunset"'s Christine Quinn and Kate Moss's little sister, Lottie Moss, to Kylie Jenner bestie Stassie Karanikolaou and Jamie Lynn Spears.

The former grid girl appeared on the podcast on 13 July to promote her ITV docuseries "Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich". The premise of the four-part series is to investigate the evergrowing world of selling sexual content online, including OnlyFans and PornHub. Attwood didn't disappoint on the podcast episode, immediately treating listeners to her usual relatable jargon, "helping herself" to the studio's Prosecco, and joking that she "might pay someone to go to the corner shop" to get some more bubbles.

As Cooper got down and dirty with talk of the risqué new series, Attwood referred to sex workers as "straight up hustlers" and revealed she grew close with some of her subjects during filming, admitting that she "really connected" with the cam girls she met in episode three. "I got emotionally involved with that place [the cam-girl studio] because it was a bit of a sorority vibe," she said. "They have each other to lean on, and they can all relate."

It's the "emotional tax" those in the sex industry receive that got to Attwood the most, as they face judgement and bundles of stigma on top of disturbing sexual requests. "We're all so focussed on the girls, but it's our dads, brothers, colleagues who are buying sh*t. No one is worried about them," she said. "They're the ones asking for them to do XYZ. They're not like these mythical creatures that come up from the sewers. They are the men in our lives. But we don't have a problem with them, we have a problem with the girls providing the content. We're talking millions of pounds a year, this isn't a niche."

Attwood, who is the CEO of luxury clothing brand We Are Foolish, announced the news that she was joining OnlyFans back in 2020. Even though the TV personality was solely making a profile for investigative purposes, she told Cooper's fans that she might have considered making content for the site before she appeared on "Love Island," when she worked as a grid girl for Monster.

"Taking it back to pre-'Love Island', grid girl Olivia, she probably would have done OnlyFans. But me right now, I was more just intrigued like, is it as simple as it sounds? It sounds way too good to be true," she admitted.

Attwood likened her experience as a grid girl to "a life jacket", pulling her out of her chaotic situation at the time. Attwood detailed the wild parties and toxic relationships during this time of her life and revealed that she was actually meant to appear on "Love Island" season two. The star hilariously "ghosted" producers at the last minute after starting a new relationship, which lasted for nine months until he cheated.

When the relationship ended, Attwood recounted, she had a "proper meltdown", publicly criticising her ex on social media and ringing his mother and workplace to spread the word about his disloyalty. One fateful day, Attwood saw an advert for "Love Island" casting at a bus stop and rang the producers in an attempt to win her spot back on the upcoming season. Amazingly, she was jetted off to Mallorca two weeks later — and the rest is history.

The Olivia Attwood we got to know in the Mallorcan villa might have been a self-proclaimed "hot mess", but we love her for her authenticity and always speaking up for what she believes in.
