Family is everything to Red . . . until they cross her. During questioning, Chapman, Nicky, and Frieda provide damageing testimony against her as a ringleader in the kidnapping of the guards. Red cuts them off and vows to never help them again. Nicky and Chapman end up apologising, but the most damning testimony comes from Frieda, who is hiding in Block B.
Red leans on her own family, calling her son, begging him to come visit. She learns her husband has moved on with another woman and her children want little to do with her. She ends up befriending Carol, bonding over their hate for Frieda. The two plot to seek their revenge, until Carol focuses her attention on a new enemy: Barb.
Red's son surprises her with a visit from her grandkids. On her way to visitation, she crosses Frieda in the hallway and attacks her, missing her family visit and her chance to meet her grandchildren for the first time.
