After being turned on by Mendoza and Blanca, Ruiz is left to take blame for torturing the guards during the riots. She's left all on her own with no allies in the D Block.
Feeling isolated, an inmate tries to drown Ruiz, which lands her in the psyche ward for an attempted suicide. She ends up joining a prison prayer group, only to find out it was one of their members that tried to drown her in a toilet.
In an attempt to turn around her circumstance, she warns the guards about the brawl that's set to go down on the kickball field, attempting to stop it. Ultimately, the brawl fails to take-off, as the girls find peace in their outdoor freedom.
