Like He's All That, this underrated Lindsay Lohan comedy is loosely based on the Pygmalion story. Here, it's a little more meta. Lola, an aspiring actress, moves to suburban New Jersey with her family and struggles to fit in. She tries to boost her image with a series of increasingly outlandish lies, all set against the backdrop of auditions for the school musical: a modern pop update of... Pygmalion.
