Set in the privileged world of an elite boarding school, The Chandler Legacies by Abdi Nazemian focuses on a group of outsiders who are ready to upend the toxic age-old traditions plaguing their school. Each one of the teens has their own unique problems, from Ramin Golafshar, who is hazed after transferring to Chandler to escape the dangers of being gay in Iran, to Amanda Priya Spencer, who must face all the ways her family's name protects her from the abuse other students face. But while they suffer in silence when they're apart, a writing group known as the Circle has the power to bring them together.
