In this British drama, lead character Nathan Ellis (Butterfield) has autism and is a mathematical prodigy. When a teacher urges Nathan to compete in the International Mathematical Olympiad, a high school maths competition, he must go outside of his comfort zone to show off his skills. Along the way, Nathan experiences challenges with anxiety and social interaction, but meeting a student named Zhang Mei changes his world.
