A "Pride and Prejudice" for the '00s, this rom-com centres on a protagonist who's a bit more of a relatable mess than Jane Austen's most beloved heroine. Bridget is stuck in a dead-end job with a crush on her playboy boss, while also juggling drama with her parents and an instant dislike for Mark Darcy, a former childhood acquaintance. Desperately trying to get her life together, Bridget faces as many embarrassments as she does wins, all whle slowly realising that her impressions of Mark might have been all wrong.
