Watch the Official Trailer For Gary Janetti's The Prince

Gary Janetti's Royal Comedy Series The Prince Gets a Very Cheeky New Trailer

Comedian Gary Janetti's hilarious tongue-in-cheek commentary about the royal family — particularly Prince George — is getting the star treatment it deserves. HBO Max's The Prince animated TV series created in collaboration with Janetti and 20th Century Fox TV premieres on Thursday, 29 July — and we can't wait for the all the royal tea that is going to be spilt.

The Prince follows a 7-year-old Prince George, who is the true iron fist of the British monarchy. Described by Deadline as a "biting, satirical look at the life of Prince George of Cambridge, the youngest heir to the British throne, as he navigates the trials and tribulations of being a royal child", the cast is just as impressive as the fact that HBO greenlit such a scathing take on the royals. Games of Thrones Sophie Turner will be the voice of Princess Charlotte, Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle, Tom Hollander as both Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Alan Cumming as George's butler, Frances De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth, Iwan Rheon as Prince William, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, and Prince George will be voiced by Janetti himself.

A UK release date of The Prince has not yet been confirmed, but POPSUGAR has reached out to HBO Max and will update this space when HBO confirms a UK broadcaster for the series. Until then, see the official trailer above.
