When I was 11, I'd fall asleep counting the sweet blue and yellow flowers on the wallpaper in the room I shared with my sister. Our beds were covered in comforters with the same print and in our closets, you'd find matching outfits, also dotted in the ditsy florals — oh, and bucket hats to go with those.
