Daisy May Cooper has managed to surprise us once again with her red carpet appearance at the Brits. Becoming somewhat of an icon for incredibly bold and hilarious looks, (remember that sensational bin bag dress she wore to the BAFTAs in 2019?), fans are often left eagerly waiting to see what she'll bust out for big celebrity events. Yet we weren't expecting her outfit for the Brits. The "This Country" star looked unrecognisable in a leather minidress, latex gloves, and knee-high boots that deserved a string of fire emojis.
The actor and comedian is known for playing characters in baggy outfits with a more drab appearance, including her love of Swindon football shirts, so fans have not been used to seeing Cooper ramp up the sex appeal. Although the outfit did not come without some brilliant anecdotes, of course. During the Brits livestream earlier in the evening, Cooper hilariously said, "I thought I was going to shag someone at the Brits so I went down to a sex shop and got this outfit." A racy look was always on the cards for the TV star as Cooper had told Brits red carpet host Roman Kemp earlier in the week on his Capital Breakfast radio show that she planned to get her "boobs out".
Every last detail was thought about, from the fingerless gloves, to the wet-look bodysuit underneath her belted dress. And while it was the unexpected outfit that turned our heads, she also hit a number of beauty credentials too. To keep in line with the punk vibe, she opted for poker-straight hair paired with sultry, sooty eyeliner and a deep french mani, a trend Nicola Peltz Beckham approves of.
