Dua Lipa Wears Head-to-Toe White to Watch Her Friend Get Married in France
Dua Lipa is setting some new rules when it comes to wedding dress codes. Although in some Western cultures, wearing white as a wedding guest is traditionally frowned upon, Lipa looked breathtaking in a sheer white dress with a side slit and romantic floral details. She accessorised the look with matching statement earrings, and a simple black handbag, keeping the rest of her hair and makeup simple for the occasion.
The singer was headed to the wedding of Simon Porte Jacquemus, fashion designer and founder of the Jacquemus fashion label, and his now-husband, Marco Maestri. Lipa's effortlessly glamorous look, while not the most commonplace wedding guest attire in everyone's eyes, looked right at home in Charleval, France, where the event was taking place, and was even more fitting for such a high fashion couple.
Lipa recently finished performing in North America and Europe as a part of her Future Nostalgia Tour, and will resume shows in September. Until then, she's been enjoying the last few moments of summer and stepping out in glamorous styles like a sheer Mugler bodysuit, a cutout bikini, and a bra made up entirely of crystals.
