Hailey Bieber welcomed the new year in style. To celebrate the first few days of 2023, the Rhode founder posted an Instagram gallery of all her festivities, featuring a sultry black Mugler minidress full of extreme cutouts. In the photos posted on 2 Jan., Bieber looked back at the camera with her hair swept up to show off the back of the dress, which had bold cutouts that mimicked the exposed-thong trend sported by celebrities like Dua Lipa and Kylie Jenner. "Holiday Dump," Bieber captioned her post. "Best times. best friends. Happy New Year."
The front of Bieber's New Year's Eve dress was actually just as edgy as the back. A video of Bieber dancing to Tame Impala's "The Less I Know the Better" showed the dress up close, including underwire detailing and a small cutout beneath her bust, a totally exposed stomach, and small slanted panels along her hips. She accessorised the outfit with a silver "Happy New Year" headband, sheer black tights, and bright-pink moon boots, which made it easier to jump around in anticipation of the countdown.
This look seemed to be a culmination of Bieber's favourite styles. Previously, we've seen her take things micro, wearing a low-rise miniskirt for her birthday in Tokyo. Then, late last year, she rocked the cutout trend, showing off her hip tattoos with a bold thong bodysuit for the Victoria's Secret holiday campaign. This trendy Mugler dress is an indicator that while it may be the start of a new year, it's still the same Bieber, and the fashion isn't stopping anytime soon.
