Kim Kardashian's Viral Football Shirt Is Now a Piece of Fashion History

Kim Kardashian caused a major spike in search for Italian football club AS Roma after being spotted in a vintage Diadora Roma 1997/98 home shirt from the team while attending daughter North West's basketball game in LA on 27 Jan. Online casinos comparison service CasinoBonusCA.com reported an increase of over 2.3 million Google searches in two days after AS Roma gave the 42-year-old reality TV star a shoutout on Twitter for her look. "😎 Mamma mia, Kim! 💛❤️," they posted.
The rare design has been worn by renowned athletes such as Francesco Totti, Cafu, and Aldair. Kardashian teamed the pièce de résistance with black biker shorts; black Yeezy trainers; and giant Carrera shield sunglasses with warm-tinted lenses. She opted for minimal makeup and bare nails, parting her dark hair at the centre and securing it into a long ponytail braid. She was pictured entering the Sports Academy gym with sister Khloé's ex Tristan Thompson, who donned a Talentless sweatsuit and white Nike Air Force 1s.
It's not the first time Kardashian's made waves with a sports shirt. In Dec. 2022, she shared photos of herself in a Paris Saint-Germain 2001/02 tee rolled up into a crop top and coordinated with black crinkled patent leather pants. This outfit reportedly caused a 708 percent increase in search for Paris Saint-Germain, according to CasinoBonusCA.com.
Kardashian also recently made headlines when she purchased Princess Diana's Attallah Cross pendant at a Sotheby's London auction for $197,453. Taking both pieces into account, along with the Marilyn Monroe dress she famously wore to the Met Gala, there's clearly little Kardashian won't do for a place in fashion history.
