Maya Jama Wears Barbiecore Bikini on Thailand Holiday

Maya Jama's Tiny Pink Bikini Would Make Barbie Proud

Maya Jama is rising up the style stakes and her latest poolside look is certainly helping to cement her fashion status. The "Love Island" host took to Instagram on 8 May and posted a stunning photo of her on a sun lounger wearing a tiny pink bikini that would not look out of place in the "Barbie" movie.

The TV presenter has been indulging in some much-deserved rest and relaxation during a solo trip to Thailand following an extremely busy few months, and the 28-year-old looked glowing. Wearing a pale pink bikini, made up of a balconette bra top and high-cut bottoms, by new swimwear brand Strait the Label, Jama channelled the Barbiecore trend loved by celebrities including Simone Ashley, Lizzo, and even her ex-boyfriend, Stormzy.

Elsewhere on the trip to the RAKxa wellness retreat on the island of Bang Krachao, Jama showcased two crochet dresses worn over the top of her slew of swimwear, as well as some snippets of her solo trip. "Just beautiful weather, healthy stuff, bare skin, meditation and massage. I needed this more than I knew," she penned alongside her carousel of photos. "As someone who loves to double dip (work and party) and has done successfully for years πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œI've never been good at listening to when my body needs a break because I suppose it's got used to functioning on little sleep and junk food etc but I know you can only ride a certain wave for so long until it starts to mash you up without looking after yourself."

Jama has already garnered attention this year for her perfect poolside looks, having worn a Gucci string bikini for a trip to Dubai earlier this year. She also modelled an array of show-stopping cutout dresses and bombshell ensembles for her "Love Island" outfits, and has been snapped up as the face of Rimmel London. As she prepares to front the summer series of the ITV dating show, she added on her social media post, "now I feel all new and fresh inside ready for the madness." Bring on the madness, and the wardrobe, too!
