Victoria Beckham Swaps Stilettos for Croc Boots – a Sentence We Thought We'd Never Write

She's known for wearing sky-high stilettos with an array of chic outfits, but Victoria Beckham mixed up her wardrobe on 25 July by rocking the very divisive MSCHF x Crocs big yellow boots. The fashion designer posted a snap of her wearing a minimalist black midi dress on Instagram stories, with her hair scooped into a low ponytail and the comical larger-than-life footwear on her feet.

The step into Crocs comes two years after the former Spice Girl announced she would "rather die" than wear a pair of the polarising shoes. Back in 2021, Justin Bieber gifted her a pair of lilac crocs from his own collaboration with the brand, to which Beckham put up a poll asking her followers if she should wear them. When the result came back as "no", she thanked Bieber for the gesture but declared she would never wear Crocs.

Fast forward two years, and she's gone back on her word in a dramatic way. Fashion brand MSCHF is known for its viral footwear, most notable those big red boots and the backwards shoe which both stemmed from the controversial brand. The big boots have now been reimagined in yellow and given Croc's signature holes to make another statement shoe, costing £350. We just didn't expect Beckham to be the one to adopt the trend.

While she's been staying in Miami recently to celebrate the arrival of Lionel Messi to David Beckham's Inter Miami football team, she has also been carving out lots of family time amidst her fashion career and rumours of a Spice Girls reunion. From attending Elton John's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" to her anniversary family dinner, she's been donning a number of stunning outfits for all of them.
