What Is 9Round?
9Round is unlike any other gym or studio you've tried. While there are no scheduled classes, your workout is still curated for you, instead of you being left to fend for yourself on the floor. What that means is this: you arrive whenever you want and complete a 30-minute circuit workout, guided by a trainer so you have the help and support you need to maximise your results. This unique workout targets every area of your body and burns a massive amount of calories.
What's Involved in a Typical 9Round Workout?
9Round workouts are split into three-minute intervals, which a trainer will guide you through. The workout circuits also change frequently, so your workout won't get stale. You move through nine different stations with a different workout at each one, and everything is tailored to your fitness level. You'll do a combination of strength training, kickboxing, and abs and core training at the stations to get a full-body workout.
Is There Any Special Equipment?
Your 9Round membership includes hand wraps and gloves, so you don't need to worry about finding your own. Some 9Round gyms also use 9Round Pulse, a heart rate-monitoring belt. It's connected to an app on your phone so you always have your stats handy; this way, you can monitor your heart rate and make sure you're staying in the optimal fat-burning zone.
How Much Do 9Round Workouts Cost?
9Round operates like a standard gym. You'll pay a monthly membership fee, which gives you unlimited access. The prices vary widely by location, because each gym is a franchise. You might pay an initiation fee that's anywhere from $50 to $200, while other membership plans don't include this fee. You can sign a month-to-month contract, six-month contract, or 12-month contract, and pay anywhere from $50 a month to more than $100 a month, depending on your location and which plan you choose. However, no matter where you are, your first workout is always free.
What Else Do I Need to Know?
9Round also offers a nutrition program to pair with its workouts to really help you lose weight if that's what you've set out to do. It includes meal planning and teachings to help you understand what foods to eat and when. The nutrition program is included in your 9Round membership.
