I'm obsessed with kombucha. Ten years ago when I was a broke college student, I would scrape together four dollars in quarters to buy a GT's Strawberry Synergy or Cosmic Cranberry. This was before kombucha went mainstream, and people would always ask me what the "weird fizzy tea drink with debris floating in it" was.
Now, with so many brands and flavours on the market, I've tried just about everything. So when GT's reached out to let me know it released a new flavour exclusive to Trader Joe's, I was not just intrigued, I was stoked. I love Trader Joe's almost as much as I love GT's kombucha; so this is a match made in gut-health heaven.
The new flavour, Strawberry Lemonade, is perfect for Summer: it's light, refreshing, and has the perfect amount of sweetness. It's officially ousted Trilogy as my all-time favourite GT's kombucha flavour. Plus, it's only $3 at Trader Joe's, which is a total steal — most kombucha at other grocery stores retails for $4 or more. The only caveat is that it's only available at Trader Joe's, which is the perfect excuse to hit up the cult-favourite store (stock up on some low-carb snacks while you're there).
