Watch Kumail Nanjiani Talk At-Home Workouts on Colbert

ICYMI: Kumail Nanjiani Is Still Incredibly Swole Thanks to His Simple Home Workout Equipment

Kumail Nanjiani is not letting stay-at-home orders impede his superhero transformation. After debuting his shredded abs and impressive muscular figure in December to get ready for his role in Marvel's Eternals, the 42-year-old actor wants fans to know that his workouts have not slowed down over the last few months. Nanjiani stopped by for a virtual visit on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday night, and although he admitted to getting emotional over unusual things like photos of bread, it's really his workouts that are keeping him level-headed these days.

"I basically saw the quarantine coming early so I just bought a bench and some weights," the actor said showing viewers his array of weight plates. "I've been working out as if it's the only thing tethering me to sanity." The other thing keeping him sane is his excitement for the pies he and wife Emily Gordon bought to celebrate the release of his movie The Lovebirds, out on Netflix May 22. Check out Nanjiani's interview with Colbert above and prepare to get a *little* emotional when he speaks about crying over bread photos (because, same).
