Noah Cyrus Talks Mental Health With James Corden

Noah Cyrus Chats Mental Health and Using Her Anxiety Struggles "For Good and Not Evil"

It looks like we can add Noah Cyrus to the ever-growing list of young celebrities who are working on destigmatizing mental health. The 19-year-old singer stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday and opened up about why she launched a new clothing line, dubbed The Lonely Collection, to support The Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to prevent suicide among teens and young adults. "It's something very close to my heart," Noah said, stating, "I've struggled with anxiety and depression since I was 10 or 11 years old."

Teaming up with The Crystal Campaign on the apparel collection is Noah's way of using her platform to "help young adults all around America — and everywhere in the world — know that they're not alone." She added, "All of the anxieties I have, [I want to] use it for good and not evil, don't let it take over my life like it has been for all of these years. I want to be able to talk about it and raise awareness." That's certainly a mission we can get behind!
