Popsugar Living Hostess Cakes Hostess Orange Crème Pop Twinkies Hostess's Orange Crème Pop Twinkies Have Me Feeling Like It's Summer 2003 All Over Again 2 July 2019 by Chanel Vargas View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Impulsive Buy (@theimpulsivebuy) on Jul 1, 2019 at 2:00pm PDT In the mood for a Summer treat? Hostess just gave the classic Twinkie a TBT-worthy upgrade with a new Orange Crème Pop flavour, and my 8-year-old self would have given up all the couch quarters she could find for a box of these. While my days of running down the sidewalk barefoot in the Summer to flag down the ice cream man are long over, these limited-edition snacks are here to give our taste buds a major flavour throwback, combining the brand's classic golden sponge cake with orange crème that's meant to taste just like its Creamsicle bar inspiration. The cream-filled snack cakes are currently available at Hy-Vee and Walmart and come in packs of 10 individually wrapped Twinkies for $3 per box. Next to Dairy Queen's new Sour Patch Kids Blizzard, this might be one of the most nostalgic treats of the season. Check out the ice-cream-inspired Twinkies ahead, and make sure to click through the Instagram galleries for an up-close look at that orange crème filling.
