As a vegan and dedicated Trader Joe's fan, I was stoked to hear about its Vegan Chicken-Less Seasoning ($2) that recently hit shelves. The seasoning is a blend of delicious spices — onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, turmeric, celery seed, and more — and was originally inspired by the chicken seasoning craze in Australia. TJ's writes on its website that it wanted to bring that deliciousness to all of its customers, including vegans: "On a recent trip to Australia, we had a chance to try this flavouring phenomenon, and knew at once that we had to bring it to our customers. And we wanted to make sure everyone, not just chicken-eaters, could enjoy it."
TJ's fans are already raving about the seasoning on social media, sharing the many different ways it can be used, from adding it to popcorn to roasting cauliflower with it to sprinkling it on a basket of french fries. The possibilities here are endless, so it might be best to just start adding this to everything. I know I'm going to!
