Jimmy Fallon's Wife Just Gave the Best Dating Advice | Video

Shoutout to Jimmy Kimmel's Wife For Dropping the Dating Advice I Really Needed to Hear

If Jimmy Fallon's wife, Nancy Juvonen, happens to be looking for a side hustle, I'd love to hire her as my personal life coach. The producer and mother of two joined her hubby for another adorable "Ask the Fallons" segment on Tuesday, and she doled out some spot-on dating advice I really needed to hear. After Jimmy recommended viewers be realistic about whether your first serious partner is really "the one," Nancy took the wheel and shared her mic-drop-worthy words of wisdom about what to expect from a partner.

"Trust their actions, not their words."

"Trust their actions, not their words," Nancy said. "You may hear the most beautiful things. You may hear promises [and] everything you want to hear, but if that person you're dating is not following up with their actions, then they're just words." I mean, damn — it's such a simple and obvious notion, but it somehow made 10 times more sense when she said it out loud. I'm gonna need that printed on a poster for my wall ASAP. She added, "Stop saying 'but he said he liked me.' If he doesn't show he liked you, then it might be a different thing." Preach, girl!

Nancy's second tip when it comes to relationships? Know what you want. "Some people might just want to date, and you don't have to rush to the altar. You don't have to rush to anything. You can just enjoy each other." She suggested jotting down a list of what qualities you're looking for in a significant other, which ultimately led her to meet Jimmy. "As soon as I did that — and I'm not kidding — I went onto Fever Pitch, and ta-da," she said, referencing the movie set on which they really hit it off back in 2005.

Watch the sweet video above (skip ahead to the 7:25 mark for the juicy stuff!) to see Jimmy and Nancy joke about which qualities she was really looking for before meeting him. We just can't get enough of these two!
