Apparently, a Netflix documentary has had a lasting impression on Meghan Markle. While attending the International Women's Panel at King's College in London, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about how much a line in Feminists: What Were They Thinking? meant to her. The documentary stars Jane Fonda, Laurie Anderson, and Lily Tomlin and centres on the work of Cynthia MacAdams, a photographer who made it her mission to take pictures of influential women throughout the 1970s.
Recently, the soon-to-be mama spoke about how she and Prince Harry plan to raise their baby as gender fluid, and now she's adding the term "feminist" to the list. "Its funny, I've actually been joking the last few weeks. I had seen this documentary on Netflix about feminism, and one of the things they said during pregnancy was I feel the embryonic kicking of feminism,'" she said. "I loved that, so boy or girl, whatever it is, we hope that that's the case with our little bump."
We're certainly counting down the days until we get to see their sweet little bundle of joy!
