Phil Beastall, a 32-year-old videographer, knows that experiencing the holiday season without your loved ones can be heartbreaking. Recently, he shared a short film titled "Love Is a Gift" that he made back in 2014, and whether you've lost a parent or not, it's utterly gut-wrenching.
The emotional video starts ordinarily — with a 29-year-old man counting down the days till Christmas — but before long, you realise that while he's eager to spend Christmas with his mother, it's not in the way you'd expect. Although the clip is emotional, it's an important reminder that the holidays are about the people you spend them with rather than the things you receive.
