Disney will be expanding their vegan menu with over 400 new dishes at their theme parks and hotels. From Oct. 1, 2019, the new plant-based options will be available at Walt Disney World Resort quick service locations, with table service locations bringing you new dishes on Oct. 3. Disneyland Resort will also start serving new vegan options from Spring 2020.
"Our guests have embraced our plant-based offerings at our parks around the globe, inspiring us to expand our menu and introduce a new menu icon, a green leaf, that will make it easier than ever to find these creations during your visit," shared Disney on its website. "These fun and flavourful options are made from plant-based ingredients like vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes – and are made without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey."
Some yummy dishes you can get excited for are Disney's new steamed Asian dumplings made from plant-based meat, the Felucian Garden Spread made with plant-based "kefta," herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish and pita, and a plant-based cashew cheesecake for when you're craving a sweet bite. Disney already carries a few vegan options at their global resorts — risotto-style spelt with mushrooms at Disneyland Paris, plant-based dumplings at Hong Kong Disneyland, and plant-based chili dogs and eggs on Disney Cruise Line.
