Does Andy Cohen Want Another Baby?

Andy Cohen Told Hoda Kotb That Benjamin “Needs a Sibling,” and We Can’t Wait!

It's been just under eight months since Andy Cohen welcomed his first child, a son named Benjamin Allen, via surrogate on Feb. 4, but the Bravo star is already talking baby number two! In a conversation with Hoda Kotb on Today's Hoda and Jenna, Hoda — who just returned to her show from maternity leave with her second daughter (just as her co-anchor Jenna Bush Hager left for maternity leave after having her third child!) — chatted with Andy about what life now looks like with baby Ben.

"I say to him a thousand times a day, 'Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy' — I'm trying to get him to say my name so bad," Andy — who says Ben has yet to utter his first word — told Hoda. After a photo pops up of Ben perched atop a Volkswagen Beetle, the Bravo host joked about how he wants Ben to stay immobile for as long as possible. "That is my dirty little secret. He is about to start crawling and stuff, but . . . I like to put him places. Ben is there, he's on the table, he's in the corner, I like that. Now he's going to be moving around, and then I gotta follow him everywhere?!"

Hoda, who also welcomed parenthood later in life, asked Andy how his already busy life has changed since welcoming Ben. "[My life has] shifted in every way, and yet, it's also kind of adapted. I'm adapting. I'm certainly saying no to more things — I'm not running around as crazily as I used to . . . it really does shift your perspective on absolutely everything." He added: "It makes you think about the future, and his future, way more."

"He needs a sibling. I think maybe he does."

Then, Hoda casually asks if Ben needs someone to "go through life with," and Andy mistook the comment for Hoda trying to set up one of her daughters with Ben (ha!). "I thought you were trying to set our kids up!" he said. "Yes, he needs a girlfriend, and he needs a sibling. I think maybe he does." However, Andy's not ready just yet to give Ben a brother or a sister, as he's anticipating his life getting a little crazy soon. "I'm taking it one step at a time," Andy said. "Again, he's about to start crawling, and life is about to become exponentially worse-slash-better for me [once he starts moving]."

We can't wait to hear more news about this developing life update — hopefully soon!
