Ilana Glazer Talks About Pregnancy With Jimmy Fallon | Video

Ilana Glazer on Being in Her Third Trimester: "Now That I'm Not Puking, This Is Really Cool"

Broad City's Ilana Glazer is loving being pregnant — at least now that her morning sickness has relented. While promoting her new movie False Positive, Ilana shared with Jimmy Fallon how she's been feeling in these last few weeks before she meets her baby.

"I'm feeling really good, but I feel a little guilty about it, I guess? Just because people are like, 'I'm so sick!' I was sick for a bunch of months and then after that I was like, 'This is the coolest thing ever.'" she told Jimmy. "Now that I'm not puking, this is really cool. At the time, I was like, 'I'm torn.'"

Ironically, Ilana's character in False Positive, "a psychological thriller about how the patriarchy is expressed through medicine," is pregnant. "We filmed this two years ago and I was very much not pregnant at all — not even a little bit pregnant," she joked. "We were going to do festivals and then COVID pushed it back, and then . . . we were going to bring it out in April, and now I'm just so pregnant — as I am in the movie — and it's actually creepy."

When asked what she thinks she can expect from her baby if they're anything like their comedian mom, Ilana shared that she loved to perform as a child. No surprise there! "Me and my brother would make all of these comedy videos," Ilana said, as Jimmy whipped out a childhood photo of Ilana in a dance costume. "That is 1990s Long Island dance competition realness, OK? . . . We're talking paying to get into the competition. What kind of scam is that?!"

OK, so maybe Ilana's baby won't be enrolled in dance classes like their mom was, but we're sure they'll get a bit of that performing spirit in one way or another.
