At the Variety Club Gold Heart Appeal launch at Battersea Power Station this week she spoke about her new music, and said: "I’m starting the album from scratch this week, including writing and recording everything. It’s all I’m thinking about.
Women Get Colourful on National TV Awards Red Carpet
The red carpet at this evening's National Television Awards was covered in gorgeous gals in colourful dresses. Fearne Cotton and Kym Marsh followed the purple trend we saw at the Golden Globes, while Cheryl Cole shimmered in silver. Myleene Klass was pretty in pink and Katie Price went for a multicoloured concoction.

Chris Hollins Is the Winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2009!
Chris Hollins has been crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing series seven! He beat all the other contestants to make it to the final, competed against Ricky Whittle this evening, and received the most public votes meaning him and his professional partner Ola Jordan raised the glitter ball trophy with pride. You guys were fairly evenly split on who you thought would win: what do you think of the result?
Ricky Versus Chris: Who Will Win Strictly Come Dancing?
The semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing took place at the weekend, with Ali Bastian just missing out on a place in next Saturday's final. She was middle on the judges' leader board after dancing an Argentine Tango and American Smooth, but it wasn't enough to keep her in the competition, leaving Ricky Whittle and Chris Hollins to fight it out in the final. Ricky's popularity dipped after his arrest two weeks ago, but he managed to win back the public thanks to his awesome Argentine Tango and Waltz.
Lily Sings In Dublin Ahead of Strictly Semi and Country Move
Lily Allen wore a hat and glittery makeup as she performed at the O2 Arena in Dublin last night. She'll be back in London by the weekend to perform on Strictly Come Dancing, and has agreed edit out the rude parts of "Not Fair" to make the song appropriate for the family show: is Strictly your favourite reality series of 2009? In addition to taking time out from music, Lily is also apparently moving to the Cotswolds, and she'll no doubt be grateful for some peace and quiet in the countryside, as her sister's birthday meal turned sour in a London pub at the weekend when another group reportedly got aggressive towards her family.

Natalie Cassidy Leaves Strictly, Ricky Whittle Stays In
Natalie Cassidy was eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing last night along with her partner Vincent Simone. Ricky Whittle was the other celeb in the dance off last night, after causing controversy on Friday when he was arrested and bailed over an alleged assault.
The incident — that involved his car and a male photographer — wasn't mentioned on the show, but the judges noted that his performance wasn't as polished as usual — he was favourite to win the competition before his low score last night — 31 out of 40.
