Florence Pugh’s Summery Pastel-Dipped Ends Are Making Us Want to Reach for the Boxed Dye

Hair fatigue is real, but so is being apprehensive about drastically changing up your look. A solution: pastel dyed ends, like the hairstyle Florence Pugh recently showed off on Instagram. In a photo posted by her glam team, the actress was all dressed up, complete with bronzed makeup and brushed-up brows and pink-purple dipped hair.

Pugh's look, which was created by celebrity hairstylist Peter Lux, was styled in "soft, wavy texture," as Lux called in his Instagram caption, which highlighted her slightly muted but colourful tips. Her hair goes from a dark colour at the roots to a golden blond midshaft to a blend of pink and purple at the bottom. The result is a fun hair colour that's perfect for summer. It's easy to get at the salon or at home — Josh Wood's new Pastel Glazes are the perfect way to DIY — and doesn't require much maintenance.

And as if the pastel-dipped ends weren't on-trend enough, Pugh's dark roots that contrast with her blonde hair are another example of one of the season's hottest trends — shadow roots. So, basically, her entire head looks like it was pulled straight from our Pinterest boards.
