Gemma Chan is switching up her signature look. On May 17, Chan debuted a wispy set of blunt bangs on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in France. A major departure from her face-framing curtain bangs and sleek side bangs of the past, Chan's new bangs may be her shortest ever.
While attending the unveiling of Hirokazu Kore-Eda's "Monster," Chan walked the red carpet in a white Louis Vuitton cape dress adorned with shimmering paillettes and a messy updo. Chan's fringe, cropped just below her eyebrows, framed her face beautifully. Turning to the side, she revealed a few asymmetrical face-framing pieces that curved along her cheekbone and against her ear. The rest of her hair was tied back into a loose bun at the crown of her head, beautifully elongating her neck as she floated down the red carpet. Chan's beauty team completed the look with a shimmery pink lip, rosy blush, and bold mascara.
