"I have normal to dry, reactive, acne-prone skin. One of my primary concerns is diminishing my hyperpigmentation and dark spots, so I was eager to try out the Hyper Skin Even Fade and Glow AHA Mask ($48). I used around four-five pumps of it all over my face for a thin, translucent even layer. It has a creamy thick gel-like consistency that glides onto the skin. As soon as I applied it, I felt a slight tingling sensation but that goes away after about 20 to 30 seconds. I kept it on for 15 minutes as directed. Once I washed off the mask, my skin instantly felt softer and smoother. There's an overall immediate radiance and glow that makes my skin look more even-toned and refreshed as well.

Since the product needed to be left on the face for 15 minutes, I decided to put it to the test during the deep conditioning part of my haircare routine. Following the instructions, I cleansed my face then used a dime-sized amount of the mask on my T-zone and dark spots. The texture of the mask going onto my skin reminded me of a thick lip balm. Shortly after applying the mask I felt a little tingling for about 30 seconds on my cheeks, then my skin felt comfortable for the remainder of the 15 minutes.
With it's balmy texture, I was nervous that the mask would be difficult to remove, but thankfully, it rinsed off cleanly with warm water.
