Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are showing their niece, Princess Charlotte, some birthday love! The royal tot turned four on Thursday, and to celebrate, Kensington Palace shared some adorable new snapshots of her on Instagram. The pictures — which were taken by Charlotte's mom, Kate Middleton — show little Lottie flashing a sweet smile at the camera while rocking a floral dress and sneakers as well as a sweater and plaid skirt. One of the posts received a cheerful comment from Meghan and Harry through their joint Instagram account. "Happy Birthday Charlotte! Lots of love, H and M xo," they wrote, adding a cake and balloon emoji.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's message for the princess comes shortly after they left a similar comment on a birthday post for her brother Prince Louis, who turned one on April 23. Because the @SussexRoyal Instagram posts and comments are often written in the first person and have used the American spelling of certain words, many believe Meghan herself is running the page. She used to have her own personal accounts, so she is pretty familiar with how to use social media. And now that she's resting up to prepare for her and Prince Harry's first baby — who should be arriving any moment now — perhaps she has some time to build a strong, supportive following and platform.
