The Kardashian-Jenners Took Shots Together Before Walking the 2023 Met Gala Steps
It was a Kardashian-Jenner takeover on the 2023 Met Gala carpet. Once again, several members of the family attended fashion's biggest night, and the famous brood — including Kim Kardashian and Kylie and Kendall Jenner — all posed together on the Metropolitan Museum of Art's stairs on Monday night, 1 May.
Kim rocked a skin-tight dress with a white corset bodice wrapped with pearls by Schiaparelli. Meanwhile, Kylie wore a glamorous two-toned red-and-purple gown by Jean Paul Gaultier, and Kendall opted for a black sequinned Marc Jacobs bodysuit along with sky-high boots.
While the women looked confident on the carpet, Kim revealed during the Vogue live stream that they all needed liquid courage before walking. She said she took a shot of liquor with her sisters ahead of their arrival.
This year, the girls' other sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, opted to miss the gala after joining their siblings on the red carpet last year. May 2022 had marked the first time at the annual event for both Khloé and Kourtney, the latter of whom attended alongside her now-husband, Travis Barker. Their brother, Rob Kardashian, has never attended. In their sisters' places, Kim's daughter North West and Kylie's daughter, Stormi Webster, were behind the scenes supporting their mothers. Both girls left the Carlyle hotel by their mums' sides but stayed in the car when the celebs entered the party.
