Scott Disick Reunites with the Kardashians to Celebrate Mason's Bar Mitzvah
Mason Disick is officially 13, and his dad Scott Disick reunited with the Kardashian-Jenner family over the weekend to celebrate his son's special birthday. While Mason turned 13 on 14 Dec. (which also happens to be his 8-year-old brother Reign's birthday, too), his bar mitzvah party took place on 17 Dec. at the Offsunset lounge in West Hollywood. Multiple members of the extended Kardashian family were photographed arriving at the party on Saturday, including Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's ex and the father of Mason, Reign, and 10-year-old Penelope.
As the oldest of Kris Jenner's grandchildren, Mason has begun to shy away from the spotlight, but his aunt Kim Kardashian did share a recent photo of him to her Instagram Story on 14 Dec., according to E! News. "The day has come where you're taller then [sic] me now," Kim captioned the photo which featured her nephew. "I just love who you are and I'm just so proud of you Mason. Welcome to your teenage years. Happy Birthday."
Khloé Kardashian also sent Mason best wishes on Instagram with a series of photos from inside his party. While the birthday boy isn't featured in any of them, his sister Penelope and cousin North West are. "Mazel Tov Mason!!! The girls and I attempted to take some pics," she captioned the candid pics she shared on Instagram.
His grandmother Kris also shared a sweet tribute to Mason and Reign on Instagram. The grandmother of 12 shared a carousel of photos of the boys alongside a lengthy message celebrating their joint birthday.
"Happy birthday to two of the brightest lights in my life, my beautiful grandsons, Mason and Reign!" Kris wrote. "Mason, you are my first-born grandson, and I am so very proud of you each and every day! You've grown into such an amazing young man, and I adore you. Reign, you are the funniest!!!! You are one special guy with so many facets to your personality!!! Both of you have the most amazing qualities and are kind, considerate, loving, so smart, so talented in so many ways, and such a special magical part of our family … AND it's wild that you were born on the very same day!!!! Five years apart!!!! You are both the best sons, grandsons, brothers, nephews, and friends to all of us and I love you so much!!!!!!! Lovey xoxo."
Meanwhile, Kourtney, shared a throwback photo of Mason and Reign on her Instagram. "December 14th… one of the best days of my life, twice and forever. my birthday boys ❤️❤️," she captioned a pic of her sons when they were younger. As for Scott, he wrote on his Instagram Story on 14 Dec., "Happy birthday 2 my better half. Love you mason."
Disick has long been an integral part of the Kardashian-Jenner family, but since Kourtney married Travis Barker, the Talentless founder hasn't been spotted in photographs of family functions as much as he once was (although he still occcassionally appears on their Hulu reality series, "The Kardashians"). However, he and Kourtney remain dedicated coparents who come together for their kids, as evidenced by Mason's bar mitzah party.
