Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are still enjoying engagement bliss nearly two months after revealing their big news. On 1 June, fans got a small glimpse at their engagement party on Instagram, as celebrity hairstylist Pete Burkill shared a few sweet snaps of the couple, including one that pictured them standing next to a white neon "Mr. and Mrs. Bongiovi" sign. "Congrats to this beautiful couple!" Burkill captioned the post, which also included two close-ups of Brown and Bongiovi.
Celebrity makeup artist Buster Knight — who did Brown's "soft natural glowy makeup" for the occasion — posted more photos of the couple from their swanky soirée on Instagram as well, writing in his caption, "Congrats to the cutest couple in the world! @milliebobbybrown & @jakebongiovi on their engagement🤍you two are so perfectly matched!!"
Brown, 19, subtly broke the news of the pair's engagement on 11 April when she posted a black and white photo of them hugged up on Instagram, showing off a sparkling diamond ring on that finger. "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍," she captioned the post, referencing lyrics from Taylor Swift's 2019 "Lover" track. Bongiovi, 21, shared his own PDA-filled snaps of the couple on his page as well, simply captioning them, "Forever 🤍".
The two, who have been public with their romance since November 2021, shocked some by taking their relationship to the next level at such a young age. One person who isn't bothered, though, is Bongiovi's dad, Jon Bon Jovi, who's been vocal about his support for his son and future daughter-in-law's engagement.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live" on 2 May, Bon Jovi said, "I don't know if age matters. You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise." He also praised Brown, saying, "Millie is wonderful. Her whole family is great. Jake is very happy".
