Forensic anthropologist, anatomist, and academic professor Sue Black became a dame in 2016. Her career has seen her travel to the likes of Kosovo, Sierra Leone, and Iraq, assisting in the identification of victims and perpetrators of various conflicts. She was also part of the Thai Tsunami Victim Identification operation.
