Her Real Name Isn't Beanie

Beanie's real name is Elizabeth Greer Feldstein. Beanie was a childhood nickname given to her by a British nanny who called her Elizabeanie. "I have two older brothers, and they're like, 'Let's just call her Beanie!" Beanie said in an interview with her college newspaper, The Wesleyan Argus. "If you call a dog Spot but its name is Spike, it's just gonna respond to Spot, so I just always responded to Beanie." Beanie thinks of her name as bashert, which in Yiddish means "meant to be."
